We are located in Vardhaman Krupa on Dr Ba Road, just off the main stretch in Parel. Punmiya Art Jewellers is a place where we work on all sorts of jewelry pieces. Parel has changed so much with all the new towers, but our corner still feels a bit like the old days. We aren't one of those massive showrooms with security guards at every door and bright spotlights. It’s a more modest shop where we focus on the actual craft. We spend hours looking at small details through magnifying glasses. Sometimes our eyes get tired and we have to step out onto Dr Ba Road for a bit just to see something far away and breathe. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and there is usually a lot of talk about designs and what people are asking for these days. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are high-end fashion designers. We are just jewelers. We work with gold, stones, and various metals to make things that look nice. It gets a bit messy with the tools and the polishing cloths, but that’s how you know real work is happening. We’ve been in Parel for a long time, and we’ve seen customers grow up and bring their own kids in. It’s just a steady, local business where we try to do right by the people who walk in.
