Punit Printers

You can find Punit Printers at Room No 5, Chawl No C/7 in the Bhaba area of Malad West. We’re located on the 26th Main, 9th Block, right on Andree Road. It’s behind NL College, so we get a fair amount of students popping in. The shop is in a chawl, so it has that old-school Mumbai feeling. The sound of the printing machines is something you never quite get away from. There is always the smell of ink and stacks of paper everywhere. We do all kinds of small jobs, from wedding cards to school projects. Sometimes the machines act up or the paper jams, and I have to spend an hour getting my hands dirty fixing it. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for us. We’ve been here for a long time and the neighbors all know us. Working behind the college means there is always some energy around, especially during exam season. I spend a lot of time just cutting paper and checking the colors on the prints. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but someone has to do it. The space is tight with the machines taking up most of the room. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know we are the ones in Room 5. It’s a simple business and we just take things one order at a time.
