Punam chemical

Down here in Goregaon West on Judges Bunglow Road, we run Punam chemical. We are tucked away in Rudra Square, Room 1904, in Chawl 238. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from around here. The area is always moving. We handle various chemicals and supplies every day. It’s not fancy work. Our space is small, just a room in the chawl really, but it’s where everything happens. We spend a lot of time checking containers and making sure things are labeled right. The road outside is usually packed with cars and people going to the bigger buildings. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. It’s dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby. We get our shipments in the morning and try to sort them out before it gets too hot. Our neighbors are all local families and other small businesses. It feels like a community. We don’t have a big office with air conditioning. We just have our desks and the stock. It’s practical. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. Goregaon is a busy place to be. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. People call us when they need something specific and we see if we have it in the back room. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with as well.
