If you head over to Andheri (W), specifically off New Link Road, you’ll find us at EEC House. Prothious Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. takes up the second and third floors. It’s a lively spot in Dalia Industrial Estate. We do a lot of engineering work here, which mostly involves sitting in front of monitors and working out complicated structures. The area is always buzzing with activity because of all the other businesses around. Our floors are usually filled with the sound of clicking mice and occasional discussions over a drawing. It’s not a quiet library, but it’s not a noisy factory either. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. The office layout is pretty standard—lots of desks and some meeting rooms that are always occupied. We don’t really go for anything fancy; we just need a good space to work. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare during monsoon season, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We have a mix of younger staff and some older heads who have been doing this for decades. We don’t spend money on big ads or trying to look more important than we are. People know us for the work we do on their projects. We just show up, do the engineering, and head home. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it keeps us busy enough. We try to keep it simple and focus on the blueprints.
