Priyanka Sawant

Priyanka Sawant operates out of Flat No C 17 in the Shri Vinayak Society. This is right in Vile Parle East, almost exactly opposite the Union Bank. It’s more of a residential setup than a storefront, which changes how we do things. You have to go through the society gate and find the right wing, which can be a bit confusing for first-timers, but once you find C 17, it’s all fine. Being in Vile Parle East is great because it’s such a central area, but the society itself stays relatively quiet compared to the main road. We don't have big neon signs or a display window. It’s just a regular door in a regular building. Most of our day is spent at the desk or on the phone, handling the various tasks that come our way. It’s a small operation, really just a few people keeping the wheels turning. We like the fact that it feels more personal being in a residential society. You get to know the security guards and the neighbors. Sometimes the elevator acts up, or there’s some construction noise from the flat upstairs, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We keep our schedules pretty tight because working from a flat requires a bit more discipline than a regular office. It’s a functional space where the work gets done without any extra fluff or fancy office furniture.
