You can find Printex India over at Shop Number 12 on the first floor of the Jai Kalbadevi building in Jakkasandra. We are a small printing outfit that handles all sorts of paper and ink jobs. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve got our machines squeezed in there and they keep running most of the day. Jakkasandra is a busy neighborhood and we fit right in with the other shops around Jai Kalbadevi. We spend our time checking proofs, refilling ink, and making sure the cuts are straight. It’s not the most glamorous work, but someone has to do it. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but we manage to get our supplies up there. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals know where to come when they need something printed out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us in the shop, listening to the hum of the printers and making sure the colors look okay. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an afternoon fixing them, but that's just part of the deal. If you're looking for Shop Number 12, just head up the stairs and you’ll hear us working. We just do our thing and try to stay on schedule. The smell of ink is pretty strong once you walk in, but you get used to it after a few minutes.
