Princeacy Khan Hospital

If you go down Nesbit Road in Mazagaon, you will find us at Aga Hall. Princeacy Khan Hospital has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. Mazagaon is an old area with a lot of history and the hospital feels like it fits right in with the surrounding buildings. The hallways are often crowded with people from the local chawls and apartments. It can get a bit loud during visiting hours when everyone wants to see their family members at once. We don't have the newest furniture or anything too stylish, but the floors are scrubbed every morning. The staff is mostly local people who know the shortcut through the side streets to get here on time. You can hear the city noises of Mumbai outside the windows all day and night. We deal with everything from small accidents to people staying for a few days. It is a very practical sort of place. There is no corporate feeling here at all. It is just doctors and nurses and helpers trying to manage the flow of patients. We use a lot of paper forms and the old ceiling fans hum constantly. It’s a busy life here on Nesbit Road. We just try to keep things moving and help whoever walks through the front doors. It is a messy, busy, but very real place to work every single day of the week.
