Prince Synthetics Pvt Ltd

We are based in Lower Parel at 103/110. It is one of those older buildings that has been here forever. We work as Prince Synthetics Pvt Ltd and mostly handle synthetic materials and fibers. Most of our day is spent managing inventory and making sure orders are packed up for shipping. The space is pretty tight because we have boxes and samples stacked everywhere you look. Lower Parel has changed a lot with all the new glass buildings and malls, but our little corner still feels like it did twenty years ago. We don’t mind it. The elevators in our building are a bit unreliable, so we end up walking the stairs quite a bit. There are only about six of us in the office area. We spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with paperwork. It gets noisy when the trains pass by, but you eventually stop noticing the sound. We don't have fancy office furniture or a place for people to sit and wait. It is just desks, chairs, and piles of material samples. Sometimes people come in to check the quality of the plastics or threads we carry. We try to help them out as best we can. Most of us bring our lunch from home and eat at our desks while we talk. It is a pretty simple way to spend the work week and it keeps us occupied.
