Prince Aly Khan Hospital

We are right here at Aga Hall on Nestbit Road. Most people in Mazgaon know the spot. The hospital has been a fixture here for many years. It is a large complex, and there is always something going on. Whether it is the middle of the day or three in the morning, the lights are on. Working here is a bit of a whirlwind. You never really know what is going to come through the door next. We have a lot of local staff who live just a few blocks away, so it feels like a neighborhood workplace. The building itself has its quirks. Some of the doors creak, and the paint is peeling in some of the back hallways. But the equipment in the rooms is what matters, and we keep that in order. Nestbit Road is always packed with traffic, so getting here can be a bit of a mission for patients. We see a lot of familiar faces, people who have been coming to us for years. There isn’t anything corporate about how we run things. It is just us, the staff, trying to handle the daily load of patients. We have our tea breaks, we talk about the weather, and we deal with the paperwork. It is a steady, honest kind of job in a very busy part of Mazgaon. We are just here doing our bit for the community every day, without making any fuss.
