Prince Aly Khan Hospital

Our place is located at Aga Hall on Nesbit Road in the Mazagaon area. If you have been to Mazagaon, you know it is a busy, cramped, and lively part of town. The hospital sits right in the middle of it. We have been operating here for a long time. It is a big building, and it takes a while to learn your way around all the floors. I remember when I first started, I got lost trying to find the canteen. We have a lot of different people working here, from doctors to the cleaning crew, and everyone has a story. The road outside is always loud with horns and people shouting, but once you get deep into the wards, it quiets down a bit. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it is usually a bit of a scramble with the new admissions. The building is solid, though it has some leaks when the monsoon hits hard. We just put out buckets and keep going. It is a very human place. You see life and death every day, and it makes you appreciate the small things. We do not have a lot of fancy tech in the waiting rooms, just some old chairs and maybe a newspaper. It is about the people, really. We just do our shifts and go home to Mazagaon or somewhere nearby. That is the way it has always been here.
