We operate out of National House, at number 41 near Chandivli Junction in Mumbai. It’s a busy spot in the city, and the office reflects that. We deal with plastics and have been doing so for quite some time now. The building is an old one, but it works for what we need. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at inventory lists. It’s not the kind of place with modern art on the walls or anything. It’s a working office. We handle the logistics of moving plastic products around and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. The traffic around the junction can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how things work. We don’t really do much in terms of advertising or big speeches. We just focus on the supply and the orders coming in. It’s practical work. Sometimes the rain makes getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we still show up. It’s just a group of people trying to keep a plastic business running smoothly in a crowded city. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about regular stuff, not just work. The elevator in the building is slow, but we don't mind the wait.
