P G Kanvinde & Associates is located over in Andheri West, right on Gilbert Hill Road. Our office is in the Tarang building, specifically unit B/14. If you know where Bhavan’s College is, we are very close to that. It’s a well-known area in this part of Mumbai. We are chartered accountants, so our office is usually full of folders and stacks of paper. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s more of a local workspace where we get things done. People come to us when they have tax questions or need someone to look over their financial statements. Gilbert Hill is a big landmark, so it helps people find their way to us. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now. The office is quiet enough most days, except when the tax deadlines start approaching. We don't have any big mission statements or slogans. We just work on the files we have. Most of the people we see are from the neighborhood or have small businesses nearby. It’s a straightforward way to work. We enjoy being part of the local community here. You won’t find any fancy reception desks or uniforms here, just a few of us working through the numbers. It’s a bit cramped with all the files sometimes, but that’s just the nature of accounting work in a city like this.
