Priation By Shangar

We are tucked away at No. 2nd Hastnabad Lane in Santacruz West. If you know the area, you know the lanes can be a bit narrow and very busy with people. Priation By Shangar has been here for some time now. It is a working space where we do a lot of the hands-on stuff ourselves. We always have fabric samples laying around on the tables and sketches pinned to the walls for inspiration. It is not the most organized place in the world, but it is how we work best. Most of our day is spent looking at different materials and seeing how they fit together for our designs. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for many years. We usually have the door open to catch a bit of a breeze, even though the street noise comes in too. Santacruz West is always moving, and we just try to keep up with our own pace. We are not big on formal meetings or corporate structures. If something needs fixing, we just fix it. If an order is running late, we stay until the work is done. It is a very direct way of working. People stop by to chat or check on their orders, and we usually have time for a quick word or a cup of tea. It is a local business and we like our neighbors.
