We are over here at Vipul Apartment in Mulund, right on Bhaki Marg. It is a busy spot but we like it. Most days start early because construction doesn't really wait for anyone. We handle building materials and there is always something going on with deliveries or people calling to check on stock. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how the traffic gets, so we spend a lot of time coordinating trucks and making sure things actually get where they need to go. It is not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we keep our records and talk to the contractors who stop by. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times we are just sitting here going through invoices. We have been in the buildmat trade for a while now. The team is small, just a few of us who know the local area well. We deal with all sorts of items for sites and renovations. It is hard work and gets dusty often, but that is just how the industry is. We try to keep things simple and just do what we said we would do. If someone needs a certain type of material, we look for it. We don't have a big corporate team, just regular people working out of B/18. It gets hot in the afternoons but the fan keeps us going. We just want to get through the day's orders and make sure the accounts are right.
