Pratibha Transport

We’ve been running Pratibha Transport out of our small office in Room 21 for quite some time now. You can find us on the first floor of Sai Niw, right in Masjid Bunder West. It’s a busy spot, especially being near Bhalghi Hotel and the 2nd stage area. Dealing with transport in this part of Mumbai is always a bit of a challenge, but we just get on with it. We handle a lot of local stuff and help people get their things where they need to go. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, but we are always here during the day. Sometimes the traffic outside makes things slow, but that’s just how it is around the masjid area. We started this because we knew the roads and had a couple of trucks. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We just have our desks, some ledgers, and the phones keep ringing. Most of the people who come to us are regulars from the neighborhood or traders who need stuff shifted. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here above the shops. If you walk past the hotel and look up, you’ll see our sign. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who walks through the door. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We spend most of our time coordinating drivers and checking on deliveries. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we manage to keep track of everything. It’s just a handful of us working here.
