I work out of Shop No A/501 in the Kotian Nirman building. This is in Andheri West, right across from the Laxmi Industrial Estate. It is a busy part of town, so there is always some noise from the trucks and workers across the street. My shop is basically my second home. I spend a lot of my hours here, usually at a desk covered in papers and folders. I’ve been in this location for quite a few years now. It is a straightforward setup. I don’t have a big team or a fancy reception area. People who come here usually know exactly why they are visiting. We deal with various tasks throughout the day, mostly local stuff that needs attention. The building is okay, nothing special, but it serves the purpose well. Some mornings are slow, and I just sit with a cup of tea before the work really starts. Then the phone starts going or someone walks in with a question about a project. I try to handle things as they come. It’s not about being the biggest business in Andheri; it’s just about doing the job right. Sometimes I’m here late into the night because the workload piles up unexpectedly. It’s a small space, but it’s mine. I don’t use any big marketing tricks to get people in. People find me because I’ve been here for a long time and they know I’m usually around at Kotian Nirman when they need something done.
