Prakash Guest House

Prakash Guest House is located right in Jogeshwari East, specifically inside the Ganga Bhavan building. We are practically next to the railway station, which makes it easy for people coming into Mumbai for work or just visiting. Being this close to the tracks means you can hear the trains, but that is part of living in this part of the city. We have a few rooms here that we keep as tidy as possible. It is not a big hotel with a lobby or a gym. It is just a guest house where travelers can stay for a night or two. Most of our guests are people who need to be near the station for an early morning train. The hallways are a bit narrow, and the building is older, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who manage the check-ins and make sure the linens are changed. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we tell people to be patient. We don't do any fancy advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because they need a place to crash near the station. It is a busy area with lots of people moving around all the time. We try to keep things quiet inside so guests can actually get some sleep. It is just a plain, functional place for anyone who needs a bed in Jogeshwari. We have been here for years now and know the neighborhood well.
