Pradeep Roadways

Our office is Shop Number 3 in the Sainath Building, right across from the R C F Police Station in Chembur. Pradeep Roadways has been operating from this little corner for a long time. Being near the police station makes it easy for people to find us, even if they aren't from around here. The work involves a lot of scheduling and making sure the trucks are where they are supposed to be. Chembur is a central place for transport, so it makes sense for us to be here. The office is usually full of logbooks and people checking on delivery times. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we need to do. There is always a lot of activity outside on the street. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and warehouses. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic or weather, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the goods get moved properly from one point to another. The building itself is a regular local spot, and we are just one of the many businesses trying to keep things moving. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. There is a lot of paperwork to track, so the desks are usually pretty messy from all the daily logs.
