Prabhat Traders

Prabhat Traders is located at number 14 in the Old Ambalal Building. It is right on Dr. Annie Besant Road in Worli, so it is pretty easy to find if you are in the neighborhood. The building has been around for a long time and has a lot of character, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes. We are just a small trading firm, mostly handling various goods that come through this part of the city. My office is tucked in a corner with a window that looks out onto the street, so I get to see all the traffic and people going by. It is a noisy part of Worli, but you stop noticing the horns after a while. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We keep our records in big folders and on the computer, trying our best to stay organized despite the constant flow of papers. We do not do anything fancy like social media or big advertising campaigns. Most of our business comes from people we have known for a decade or more. It is a comfortable way to work. If you stop by, you will probably find us having tea and discussing the day’s prices. We just take things one day at a time and try to treat people fairly. It is a simple business.
