Prabhat Enterprises

Out here in Kashimira, things are a bit different from the main city. We started Prabhat Enterprises just to have a solid place to work from. It is mostly about handling orders and making sure the goods get where they need to go. We do not have a big fancy storefront with bright lights. It is just a practical space where we keep our records and talk to people who need our help. Some days are really quiet and we just sit around cleaning the shelves or checking the inventory again. Other days, three trucks show up at once and everyone is sweating and moving boxes as fast as they can. We have lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of the people around here. It feels like a small town even though Kashimira is growing really fast lately. We try to be fair with everyone who comes through the door. There is no point in acting like we are some big multinational company when it is just us. We use old ledgers sometimes alongside the computer because it feels safer that way for our records. The rain gets really heavy in this part of town during the monsoon and sometimes the water comes right up to the doorstep. We just put some sandbags out and keep going with our work. It is just how it is. We do not have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to finish the work, close up the shop, and go home to our families in the evening. That is enough for us.
