Pooja Motors

Pooja Motors is located at Shop No. 23/C on N S Mankikar Mar in Sion. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty jammed up with traffic most of the time. Our shop is right there on the edge of the road, and it’s usually got a couple of cars parked out front with their hoods up. There is always oil on the floor, no matter how much we try to scrub it off. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful not to trip over the tools or the spare tires we keep stacked against the back wall. Working on engines is messy work, and by the end of the day, our uniforms are usually pretty stained. We’ve been here at Sion for quite a while, and we know most of the people who live nearby. It’s not just about fixing cars; it’s about dealing with the heat and the noise of the street while trying to figure out why a motor is making a weird noise. The workbench is covered in wrenches and greasy rags. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two for parts to arrive, so the cars just sit there while we move on to the next job. It’s a humble setup, but it’s what we do. We don’t spend much time on the office part of things because we’re usually under a car or helping a driver who got stuck in the lane right outside.
