Pooja Beauty Salon & Spa is tucked away in the Ibrahim Kasam Building, right at shop number nine. If you’re familiar with the Parel area in Mumbai, you know how crowded and lively it gets around here almost every day. We are located on Gas Company Lane, which is a busy little stretch in the Lal Baug neighborhood. It’s a real Mumbai setting, with lots of people moving through the lane all day long. The building itself has been around for a while, and being in shop nine means we see a lot of the local traffic passing by. It’s not a huge place, but it fits everything we need for the salon and spa work we do. People from around Lal Baug usually find us easily because the Gas Company Lane is a well-known spot in this part of town. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand without any fuss. It gets pretty noisy outside with the city sounds, but that is just part of being in this part of Parel. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a festival or something going on nearby at Lal Baug. It’s just a basic setup for local residents who need a place close to home. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the shop in the building.
