Podey Patil Transport

Podey Patil Transport operates out of Gala No 3 in the Wajid Ali Compound. We are located in Andheri East, right opposite the Tilak Nagar Gate. It is a pretty gritty area, but it works for a transport business like ours. There are always trucks coming in and out, and the ground is usually a bit dusty. We spend our time managing routes and making sure the drivers know where they are going and which roads to avoid. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy furniture or carpets. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks that we keep updated. The heat can be a bit much in the middle of the afternoon since the compound doesn't get much of a breeze. We have been here for a while and the locals know us. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to our customers directly and handle the loads as they come in. Sometimes a truck breaks down and we have to scramble to fix the schedule, which is just part of the daily headache. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until late at night. We just try to keep the wheels moving and stay on top of the paperwork every single day. It’s just how we get things done.
