PMJ Printers

If you walk down 90 Feet Road in Dharavi, you will find PMJ Printers at Shop A/1/421. We are right across from the Indian Bank, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you are looking. Our shop isn't very big, but it’s packed with machines and stacks of paper. It gets a bit loud when everything is running at once. We do all sorts of printing work for the people around Jb Nagar and Dharavi. Sometimes it is just a few copies, and other times it is a big stack of wedding cards or flyers. We have been here for a while now, and we know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here and they walk in. The air in the shop always smells like ink and warm paper, which I guess is just how a printer’s place should be. We try to get things done as fast as the machines allow. Sometimes they jam or act up, and then we have to spend an hour fixing things with ink on our fingers. It’s part of the trade. We aren't trying to be some high-end design studio. We just do the printing work that people need for their daily lives. If you need something printed, you just come by and we see what we can do. We're here most days from morning until late evening.
