Plicatum Agro Private Limited is based in the Mittal Tower at Nariman Point, Mumbai. Even though we are in one of the most famous business districts in the city, our office feels a lot more grounded than you might expect. It’s Room B/126 on the 210 level. The view of the ocean is nice, but most of the time we are too busy looking at our desks to notice. The building is old and has that specific smell of old Mumbai offices and salt air. We are a small team, so we don't have those huge open-plan offices you see in movies. It’s more about desks pushed together and lots of coffee. Dealing with agro business from a place like Nariman Point means we spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer coordinating with people far away from the city. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow, and lunch hour is always a mad rush in the hallways. We don't wear suits unless we absolutely have to; usually, it’s just comfortable shirts and trousers. It’s a busy life here, and there’s always a bit of stress when deadlines are near, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the tower, just one that does its work properly and treats people right. It’s just us, working away in our little corner of the city.
