Petals Innovative Machine

Petals Innovative Machine is over at B-63 in the Mittal Industrial Estate in Andheri East. If you know anything about this part of Mumbai, you know it is always humming with activity. Our machine shop is tucked away among many others in the estate. We don't have much in the way of decor. The walls are just plain and the space is filled with the machines we work on. It gets pretty loud during the day when everyone in the building is running their equipment at the same time. We spend most of our hours building or fixing different mechanical parts. It’s a hands-on kind of job, so our hands are rarely clean. The Mittal estate can be a bit of a maze, and finding B-63 takes a minute if you aren't familiar with the layout. We have a small group of guys here who just know how to handle the machines. There isn't any corporate talk or long meetings. We just look at what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the traffic in Andheri East makes it hard for deliveries to arrive on time, which can be frustrating. We usually take our tea breaks at the little stall just outside the main gate. It is a simple life of mechanical work and keeping the machines running. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the noise anymore.
