Coral Exports

You can find Coral Exports at 52, Bhajipala Lane. It’s just off Mohd Ali Road and very close to Nagdevi Street. If you know this area, you know how incredibly busy it gets. The lanes are narrow and there are people everywhere carrying all sorts of goods. Our place is squeezed in among many others. It’s noisy and crowded, but there’s a certain energy to it that you don’t get anywhere else. We spend our time at the shop surrounded by inventory and shipping forms. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things in and out of the lane. Sometimes the trucks can’t even get close, so we have to use carts. It’s a bit of a struggle every day, but we’ve been doing it so long we don’t really think about it anymore. We don't have a fancy office upstairs. We just have a small desk where we keep the books and a phone that never stops ringing. The air is always full of the smells of the market—spices, exhaust, and whatever else is being sold nearby. We don't have a marketing budget or anyone to handle our public image. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at Bhajipala Lane for years and people know we do our job. It’s a tough environment, but it’s our home and we know how to navigate the chaos of the street.
