Working at Seth House on Ashok C Road is how I spend most of my days. It is located at 4 Thakurdwar, which is a part of town that has a lot of history in its walls. My name is Pearl Kaizad Pastakia and this is where I handle my daily tasks. The building is older and has that specific feel you only find in this part of the city. Ashok C Road can be quite loud with all the passing cars and people going about their business. I have my space set up here and it suits what I do just fine. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it is a practical place where I can focus on the work at hand. Most people who come by are locals or people who have known about this spot for years. I don't really use a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics to get things done. Sometimes the stairs in Seth House feel a bit long after a tiring day, but it’s home for the business. I like being in Thakurdwar because everything is close by. You can find whatever you need within a short walk. I keep my own schedule and try to stay organized, even when the paperwork starts to pile up on the desk. It’s a quiet life for the most part, despite the noise outside on the road. Just a small operation by one person.
