Patterns Engineers

We are based in Ghatkopar West, right in the Collectors Colony area on RC Marg. The address is number 220. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. Patterns Engineers is a small operation, and our space reflects that. It’s more of a workshop feel than an office. We have tools lying around and parts that we are working on spread across the tables. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of the nature of engineering work, but we like it that way. The air smells a bit like metal and grease sometimes. People from the colony walk past all day, and we know most of the guys running the nearby shops. It gets pretty hot in here during the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for a few hours. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, whoever isn't under a piece of equipment is the one who answers the door or the phone. We’ve been here in Ghatkopar for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We just focus on the engineering tasks we have for the day and try to get things out the door on time. It’s a lot of manual work and regular problem-solving that keeps us busy from morning until evening.
