Patel Chemicals is tucked away at 22, Yusuf Mansion, on 16/18 Daryasthan Street in the Vadgadi area of Mandvi. If you know Mandvi, you know it’s a maze of streets and old buildings, and Yusuf Mansion is right in the thick of it. The street is always packed with carts, people carrying boxes, and the smell of the market. Our office at number 22 is up a flight of narrow stairs that feel like they have been there forever. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the samples and files we keep around. We’ve been at this Daryasthan Street location for a long time, and we know the rhythms of the market perfectly. It’s noisy and chaotic outside, but we just focus on our chemical orders and the paperwork. We don't have a modern lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and find someone at a desk. The walls are lined with shelves that are overflowing with old records and jars. It’s an old-school way of doing business, but it works for us. We handle a lot of phone calls and manage the logistics of getting things through the crowded streets of Vadgadi. It takes patience to work in this part of town, but we are used to it. Yusuf Mansion has a lot of history, and we are just a small part of it. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as fast as the traffic allows.
