Partap Singh & Sons

We have a bit of a complicated setup here. Partap Singh & Sons is spread across a couple of spots at Charni Road. We have the shop at No 5 on the ground, and then our office is up on the 4th floor of Building 29 B near Lulla Nagar Cross Road. It keeps us moving back and forth between the two. Being on the 4th floor means we get a bit of a climb every day, though there is a lift that works most of the time. The building is one of those old ones with narrow hallways and a lot of character. We’ve been around for a long time, and the "Sons" part of the name is real—it's been passed down through the family. Our desks are old, and we still use a lot of paper ledgers alongside the computer. It’s a bit cramped with all the files we've kept over the years. Down at the shop, it’s more about meeting people and handling the physical goods. Charni Road is always a buzz of activity with the station nearby. We see all sorts of people walking by. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We spend our days making sure the orders are logged and the customers are looked after. Sometimes we get behind on the paperwork, but we eventually catch up. It’s a family-run kind of place and we like it that way.
