Parmar Decorators

Our office is located in a BMC Chawl on the third floor of Plot 138 in Shuklaji Estate. It’s right in the heart of Mumbai Central, just behind the old Neeshad Theatre. We’ve been here for a long time and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still in the same spot. Being decorators means we are usually out and about with curtains, lights, and flowers, but this chawl is where we keep all our supplies and do our planning. It’s a very traditional setup and we like it that way. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s a modest space where we sit down with families to talk about their weddings or parties. People around Mumbai Central know the Parmar name because we’ve been helping with local celebrations for years. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just show people what we can do and let them decide. The stairs up to the third floor are a bit steep, but we are used to it by now from carrying all our decorating gear up and down. We work hard to make sure everything looks right for whoever hired us. It’s a lot of manual labor and long nights, especially during the wedding season. We aren't looking to be the biggest decorators in the city, just to do a decent job for the people who come to us.
