Parikh & Co

We’ve been here at Parikh & Co for quite a while now. Our shop is tucked away inside the Raghuleela Mega Mall, right in the Kandivali West area. If you know the Bhairoba Nala or the Poisar Bus Stop, we are just behind that part of the street. It gets pretty crowded around here, especially during the evenings when people are getting off work. I usually see the buses pulling in and out all day long. The mall itself is a big place, but once you find your way toward the back near the bus stop side, we’re easy to find. Working here in Kandivali has its own rhythm. Most days are just spent managing things in the shop and watching the rain during the monsoon season or dealing with the heat in May. It isn't a fancy setup, just a regular space where we do our work. We see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. Sometimes people stop in just because they were already at the mall for something else. It’s a convenient spot even if the traffic outside can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just open up the shutters every morning and get on with it. There is always something happening around the bus stop, and the noise of the city is just part of the background for us. We like being part of this local patch of town. It feels like home after all these years of being in this same unit.
