Parekh Transport

We are Parekh Transport, located at Gala No 4/100 in the Bootwala Building. If you are on Masjid Nagar Road, we are right across from V Trans Courier. Our gala is a busy spot, especially in the early mornings when the trucks are lining up. It’s a dusty place with the smell of diesel and old cardboard everywhere. We have a small desk tucked into the corner where we try to keep track of all the loads coming and going. The paperwork is never-ending, and there is always a driver waiting for a signature or a set of directions. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that move the hot air around. It’s a noisy business, with a lot of shouting and the sound of heavy gates sliding open and shut. We move all kinds of freight, and sometimes the loads are tricky to pack into the trucks correctly. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, and things don't always go exactly to plan when there is a breakdown or a road closure. We just deal with things as they come. Our office isn't much to see, just a place to coordinate the movement of goods. We’ve been in the Bootwala Building for a while now, and we just keep focus on getting the trucks out on time. It is a practical, no-nonsense way to make a living in a very crowded part of town.
