Opera House is a crowded place, especially around S V P Road. We are tucked away on the ground floor of the Roopraj Building. It’s number 497, right near Marwari Vidyalay. If you know the area, you know how the traffic gets. We’ve been here for quite a while now, dealing with engineering parts and all the small details that come with this kind of work. The shop is a bit small and we have things stacked up everywhere, but we know where everything is. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot and the street gets too loud. We see the kids going to school at the Vidyalay and then the business day really begins. It’s not a fancy setup. We have old desks and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. People come in looking for specific things they can’t find elsewhere in the city. We talk to the regulars, maybe share some news about the neighborhood. It’s a busy life in this part of town. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the roads are blocked, but we just deal with it. Living and working near Opera House means you get used to the noise and the constant movement. We are just a local engineering spot trying to get through the daily tasks and keep things running for the people who rely on us.
