Parchi chemical

Masjid Bunder West is always a bit of a headache with the crowds, but that is where we are located. Our spot is in Garib Das Estate, specifically in the 10/14 area which is usually packed with trucks and people moving crates. It’s a bit of a maze getting to Ramesh's place and our section. We handle a lot of different chemicals and the smell is something you just get used to after a week or so. The stairs are narrow, and we are constantly moving stuff up and down. It is not a clean office job by any means. Most days involve checking labels and making sure nothing is leaking. The New Satara Bypass is right there, so you hear the horns all day long. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall downstairs when things slow down in the afternoon. It's a busy part of the Taluka Haveli area and there’s never really a quiet moment. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. The walls are covered in old clipboards and notes we’ve scribbled over the months. We don’t have much space for sitting around. Most of the day is spent on our feet, shifting containers and talking to the drivers who come by to pick up orders. It’s just regular work in a very crowded part of the city. It gets tiring but it is what it is and the work keeps coming.
