Parasmani Transport Co has its office at number 4 in the New Cloth Market. This is part of the Vanrai Shopping Center in Goregaon East, right across from the Western Express Highway. Being so close to the highway is important for us because of all the trucks we handle. It is a very loud and busy spot. You can hear the traffic all day long from the office. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, files, and a few chairs for drivers who are waiting for their papers. We deal with moving cloth and other goods for the traders in the market. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to make sure everything is on time. Things don't always go perfectly—trucks break down or the highway gets blocked—but we do what we can. We've been in this shopping center for a long time now. It’s a simple operation without any flashy technology. We know the other shop owners around here, and we mostly work with people we've known for years. It is a very local business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or big speeches.
