Paras Print

Paras Print is located on the first floor of Lakhani Terace. We are at number 17, right in the Fort area. It’s the 3rd stage of the Phase X section. We’ve been around these streets for quite a few years now. The machines make a lot of noise during the day. There is always the smell of ink in the air here. We keep stacks of paper near the entrance because there isn't much room elsewhere in the shop. The building is one of those old ones with narrow stairs. You have to watch your step when you come up. We spend our time checking colors and making sure the machines don’t jam up. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for things to dry. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses. We share news and talk over lunch sometimes when we have a break. It’s a tight space but we make it work for us. Most of the time, we are covered in a little bit of dust or ink from the presses. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. People usually find us by word of mouth from other customers. We don't use a lot of fancy computers, just what we need for the jobs. The light in the morning is the best for seeing the prints clearly. We stay until the last order is boxed up. It's a good way to earn a living.
