Our office is tucked away in Mittal Court, over at Nariman Point. It’s 81-A, if you’re looking for the door. Parag Milk Foods, or Gowardhan Dairy as most people know it, has been around the dairy scene for a long time. It’s a fast-paced environment here because milk doesn't wait for anyone. We deal with everything from procurement to distribution, making sure the dairy gets where it needs to go every single day. The office can get pretty loud with phones ringing and people coordinating trucks. It’s a lot of logistical work behind the scenes. We handle the paperwork and the planning that keeps the milk moving from the farms to the shops. Nariman Point is a busy business hub, so there’s always something happening outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, files, and people drinking tea while staring at schedules. We don't have a big showroom here, it’s just the engine room of the operation. Sometimes things get stressful when a shipment is late or there’s a hiccup in the supply chain, but that’s the nature of working with fresh food. We’ve grown over the years, but the core of the work stays the same. It’s about getting basic food items out to families. We keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the numbers. It’s a solid, honest way to spend the day.
