Paper Cos

If you walk out of the Malad Railway Station on the East side, you will find us pretty easily. We are at Shop No 15 in the Pragati Shopping Centre in Khetwadi. It is right across from the station entrance, so it stays very busy all day long. Paper Cos is basically what the name says. We have stacks and stacks of paper everywhere. Reams of white paper, colored sheets, cardstock, you name it. The shop is small and sometimes it feels like the paper is going to fall over on you. We have a lot of students and office workers coming in because of the location. Being near the station means there is a lot of noise from the trains and the people rushing to catch them. We open early and stay open until the last big rush is over. It is a simple life. We spend a lot of time cutting paper or wrapping bundles for people. Our counters are worn down from years of use. It is not a fancy stationery boutique. It is a practical shop for people who need supplies. Sometimes the rain gets in a bit if we do not pull the shutter down fast enough. We know most of the other shop owners in the Pragati center. We share news and talk while we wait for the next customer. It is a good little spot, even if it is a bit cramped for space.
