Pankaj Transport Pvt Ltd is situated at 310 Mumbai Dairy Faliyu. We are inside the Damji Shamji Industrial Complex, which is a pretty large place. If you get lost, just look for the Madhuban Toyota showroom; we are quite close to that. The complex is always full of people and vehicles. Our office is a bit tucked away, but there is always a lot of movement around us. Being in a transport business means there are always drivers coming in for their schedules and paperwork. The room is usually filled with the smell of diesel and the sound of heavy engines idling nearby. We don't have a lot of furniture, just the basics to keep the logs updated. It’s an old-school way of working. We have maps on the wall and a lot of keys hanging up. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to worry about that. We focus more on making sure the trucks are where they need to be. It’s a lot of coordination and late-night calls. The industrial complex has a canteen where most of us grab a quick bite. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we are used to the noise of the machinery and the shouting from the loading bays. It’s a busy, gritty environment, and that’s how we like it. We just keep the wheels turning day after day. It's life.
