P K Parivahan

P K Parivahan operates out of Godown No 6. We are located in the 2nd Clive Estate, over at Masjid 4th Cross in the M D Block. If you're coming this way, we are quite near the Ashoka Hotel, which most people know. It is a real warehouse environment here. There are big doors, high ceilings, and always a bit of dust in the air from all the activity. We handle transportation and storage, so there are always crates and heavy items being moved around. It’s not the kind of place you come to for a tea, but it’s where the real work happens. The streets around the estate are narrow and can get jammed with lorries, especially during the middle of the day. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the loaders know what goes where. It can be loud with the sound of engines and people shouting instructions. We’ve been in this godown for a long time. The walls have seen a lot of cargo pass through. It is a bit of a maze back here in the M D Block, but once you find us, it's straightforward. We don't do much in terms of decoration; the space is purely for the business of moving things. Every day is different depending on what arrives, but the routine stays the same. We just focus on getting the trucks out on time.
