P C Chem India is situated in Trombay on Indra Nagar Marg. It is a pretty industrial area with a lot of warehouses and small factories around us. We deal with various types of chemicals and we keep them in big drums and plastic containers. The warehouse is a large space with a very high ceiling. There is a specific smell to the place, a mix of cleaning fluids and plastic, that you notice as soon as you walk in. We spend our time checking the inventory and making sure everything is stored properly. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving the drums around with a trolley. The walls are just plain brick and the floor is thick concrete. We have a small office area near the entrance where we keep the records and the computer. Outside, the road is often dusty and there are always trucks parked along the side waiting to load or unload. Trombay can be quite hot, and the air feels heavy sometimes because of all the industry nearby. We have to follow a lot of rules about how we handle the stock, so we spend a good portion of the day just double-checking labels and lids. It is a very straightforward business. We do not have any displays or fancy signs. It is just a place of work where we come every morning, do the tasks on the list, and lock up when the sun goes down.
