Owens Corning

We are located up on the 7th floor of the Alpha Building in Hiranandani Gardens. Being in Powai is nice because there is a bit more green than other parts of the city. Our office at 701 isn’t huge, but it has enough room for our desks and a small corner for the coffee machine. The elevator can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work, so we often end up waiting in the lobby chatting with the security guards. Once we are upstairs, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have any big posters or fancy mission statements on the walls. It’s just a practical workspace where we get our daily tasks done. We’ve been here for a few years now and have gotten used to the view of the other buildings. Lunch is usually something we bring from home or grab from one of the stalls downstairs if we are feeling lazy. The afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so we keep the blinds down most of the time. It’s a regular office job and we aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a steady routine and we are happy with it. Most days are pretty much the same and we like the predictability.
