India Gypsum Ltd (Saint Gobain Group)

Our office for India Gypsum Ltd (Saint Gobain Group) is located at A/702, Adarsh Apartment in Yashwant Nagar. We are right by the Vakola Pipe Line in Santacruz East, Mumbai, 400 055. Being in an apartment building like Adarsh makes for a different kind of workplace, but it works for us fine. We are high up on the seventh floor, so we get a bit of a view of the busy streets below. Santacruz is a crowded place, and the Vakola area is always humming with people and cars and everything else. We handle the gypsum supply side of things, helping out with projects all over Mumbai. It gets pretty hectic with the phones ringing and people trying to coordinate deliveries through the city's famous traffic jams. We don't have a lot of space for showing off, just enough room to get our work done and keep the records straight. The staff here is small and we all know each other well. We don't use any fancy corporate language because we’re mostly talking to contractors who just want to know when their stuff will arrive. It can be a long day sometimes, especially when the monsoon hits and everything slows down to a crawl. But we just keep at it, doing what needs to be done.
