Located in Chembur, Sector 19/A, we are at Shop No 4 and 5 on the ground floor. It’s a decent-sized space since we took over the shop next door to have more room for the ovens. We are a local bakery and we spend most of our time baking bread and biscuits. The ovens are running almost twenty-four hours a day, so the shop is always warm. We have a glass front where you can see all the puffs and cakes we’ve made that morning. Chembur is a busy part of town and Sector 19/A has a lot of people walking around, so we stay pretty active throughout the day. We don't have a fancy marketing team or anything; we just put the trays out and people come in. Sometimes the cream on the cakes isn't perfectly smooth, but that’s because we do everything by hand here. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, but there’s usually a bit of sugar or flour somewhere. We have a few stools for people to sit on while they have a tea and a snack, but mostly it’s a quick in-and-out kind of place for the locals. We've been in these shops for a while now and know most of the people who live in the buildings nearby. It’s just a neighborhood bakery where we try to keep things simple and fresh for everyone.
