Oswal Logistic is right in the middle of the madness that is Masjid Bunder. Our office is No 309/130 on the third floor of a building at 93/95 Dhanji Street. If you have ever been to Dhanji Street, you know how hard it is to move through the crowds of people and the handcarts filled with goods. We are very close to the Masjid Bunder Station, so you can hear the trains and the constant shouting of the porters outside. Getting up to the third floor is a bit of a workout, but it’s where we do all our planning. We deal with trucks, shipping schedules, and making sure boxes get from one side of the city to the other. The office is usually a bit chaotic with papers flying around and people shouting into their mobile phones to check on deliveries. We have maps pinned to the walls and a big whiteboard where we track everything. It is a loud, sweaty, and fast-moving business. We don’t have time for fancy furniture or decorations. Everything here is about getting the work done before the markets close for the day. Sometimes a shipment gets stuck in traffic, and then we have to spend the whole evening on the phone trying to fix it. It is a tough job, but someone has to keep the goods moving in this city.
