Orchem

Orchem is located right on Princess Street, in the V.K. Building. We are up on the 3rd floor at number 175. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets near Kalvadevi Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around all the time. Being near the Marin Lain Railway Station means we hear the trains and the crowds constantly, but you get used to that noise after a few weeks. The building itself is one of those older ones, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are not used to it, but it keeps us moving. Our space on the third floor isn't massive, but it fits our desks and the files we need for the business. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or handling paperwork that comes in from the local markets nearby. It’s quite a walk from the station to here, especially when it’s raining, but the location is central for what we do. We share the floor with a few other offices, so there’s always someone coming or going in the hallway. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means, just a working space with old windows and wooden desks. We usually grab tea from the stall downstairs around eleven. It’s just the way things work around here in this part of town, keeping things simple and sticking to the daily routine.
