Or Design House

Our workspace is located in the Laxmi Industrial Estate, which is a pretty busy area in Andheri West. We’re in 30/C, not too far from the old Fame Cinema. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving and people rushing around. Inside our place, things are a bit different. We deal with design work, so there are sketches and samples scattered across the tables. It’s not a perfectly tidy studio like you see in magazines. We have piles of fabric or paper or whatever project we’re currently focused on. Sometimes the floor is a bit of a mess. We spend a lot of time just trying out different ideas to see what looks okay. Being in Joshi Wadi means we have a lot of neighbors doing all sorts of different trades. We aren't a big agency with a lot of people in suits. It’s just a small group of us who like making things look decent. We don’t really go for all that marketing talk. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a desk or arguing about a color. It’s just how we work. We’ve been in this estate for a bit now and we like the energy of the place. It feels real. It’s a lot of long hours and coffee, but we get the work done. Nothing too fancy, just a local design spot in the middle of Andheri. We hope people like the stuff we come up with.
