Omkara Transport Pvt Ltd is based out of Dana Bunder, which is a place that never really sleeps. Our office is at 105, B-Wing in the Shivatirth Nagar part of Sterling Chambers. If you’ve ever been to Dana Bunder, you know it’s all about the trucks and the heavy lifting. There is always a layer of dust and the sound of horns honking. We have been working out of this building for a bit, handling the transport side of things. It’s a lot of coordinating between drivers and making sure the loads are where they need to be. Sterling Chambers is a solid old building. The stairs can be a bit much if the elevator is acting up, which happens sometimes. We spend most of our mornings on the phone or checking the logs. It’s a gritty business, really. You get your hands dirty and you deal with all kinds of delays on the road. Shivatirth Nagar is a busy little pocket. We know most of the other guys working in the nearby wings. We don’t have much time for fancy speeches or long meetings. We just need to know the trucks are moving. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until quite late at night. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we just sit down and get through it eventually. That is just how it goes here.
